Anti-Ragging Committee

The college has constituted the Anti-Ragging Committee in the year 2019-2020. The following instructions are framed to prevent the menace of ragging and foster healthy interpersonal relations among students in the campus.

Ragging is strictly forbidden inside and outside the college campus.

All students shall familiarize themselves with the rules, regulations, guidelines on code of conduct, anti-ragging measures and discipline maintained by the college. All newcomers should attend counseling sessions organized by the college staff from time to time.

Objectives
  • To make students aware of the dehumanizing effect of ragging.
  • To maintain continuous vigilance and prevent occurrence and recurrence of ragging.
  • To promptly and strictly deal with incidents of ragging.
Functions
  • Publicize anti-ragging rules and actions against offenders.
  • Conduct enquiry on complaints and recommend punishment.
  • Oversee student undertaking procedures.
  • Conduct workshops and awareness programs.
  • Offer counseling services and awareness activities.
  • Take necessary preventive measures inside campus and hostels.
